A Living
Exhibition Model Designed to Evolve
With Artists Over Time

Introducing the Living Exhibition

The Living Exhibition marks a new chapter at Bank Art Gallery. It is designed to grow with artists over time, allowing work to move, evolve, and remain present within a curated environment that responds to rhythm, space, and community.

Rather than fixed-duration shows, this model creates ongoing visibility and meaningful placement opportunities. Artists enter at different levels based on their goals, readiness, and the needs of the space, becoming part of an active and evolving ecosystem.

How to Begin

To be considered for placement within the Living Exhibition, artists begin by completing the Artist Intake Form.

Following curatorial review, selected artists may be invited to participate through one of the gallery’s artist memberships levels. Entry begins at $20 per month, with additional placement opportunities available at higher levels.

Placement is determined thoughtfully based on space, readiness, and alignment within the gallery environment.

ACCESS LEVEL Connection, and Community

Access Level is the welcoming entry point for all artists. It is where connection begins and your work enters the rhythm of the Living Exhibition.

This level is designed for artists who want to stay connected to Bank Art Gallery and be part of the community as the program continues to grow.

While it does not include in-gallery placement or online listings, it is the first step toward being seen, considered, and invited into future opportunities as they arise.

It is also a great fit for artists who want to attend open houses, receive updates, and remain actively engaged in the gallery’s ecosystem.

LEVEL ONE
Visibility & Preview

Level One builds upon Access Level by introducing limited visibility within the gallery while awaiting expanded placement.

– Recognition as an upcoming artist
– Limited gallery visibility in designated preview areas
– Online presence with up to two works listed on the gallery website
– Placement on the consideration list for future exhibitions

LEVEL TWO
Gallery Placement

Level Two offers curated placement within the main gallery or lower level as part of the Living Exhibition.  Artists at this level become part of an active exhibition environment, gaining sustained visibility within the space during the placement cycle.

– Curated placement within the gallery
– Presentation during a defined exhibition cycle
– Increased in-gallery visibility
– Intergration into the gallery’s active exhibition program

LEVEL THREE
Featured & Solo Presentation

Level Three consists of selectively curated presentations in prominent gallery spaces, including featured walls, rooms, or dedicated areas.

– Prominent placement within the gallery
– Solo or featured presentation for a defined exhibition cycle
– Increased visibility within the gallery space

EXHIBITION NOTES

The Living Exhibition is curated with intention. Each placement is determined by the needs of the space and the evolving rhythm of the program to ensure a cohesive and dynamic presentation.  Submitting an interest form allows us to learn more about your work and consider it as opportunities arise. Placement fees correspond to the assigned level and exhibition cycle. The gallery operates on a consistent weekend schedule.
